Cory's Story

Life Where to begin... Let's start with a summary of what's happened since we graduated: In the fall of 1993 I started school at the University of Nebraska as a member of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. In 1995, I lost my Regent's Academic Scholarship (too many nights of heavy drinking :) ), and took a full time job as an Applications Programmer/Analyst at Metromail, Inc where I had been previously interning. After a couple of years in the Lincoln job market, I decided to get the hell out of Nebraska and moved to Phoenix, AZ. Since then I've bounced around a few jobs, wrote some technical articles for Visual Developer magazine, and now work for Involve Technolo...Expand for more
gy, a software startup (see involvetechnology DOT com ), as Lead Software Architect. In May 2001 I got married and 7 months later we bought our first house. We now live comfortably with our dog and two cats. My wife just finished her Masters in Organizational Management and we're now working on starting her first business. In April of 2006, my wife and I moved to Seattle where I've been enjoying a very vibrant urban lifestyle while working with two new start-up companies - the failed 21CMusic and now Aisle IQ.
