Life

College
In June 1996 I started my studies at Penn State in Public Relations with minors in Spanish and Business/Liberal Arts. I graduated with my B.A. in May 2000.
After working a few years, I returned to Penn State to pursue my Master's degree in Counselor Education/Student Affairs. I graduated with my M.Ed. in August 2004.
Workplace
After graduating from Penn State in 2000, I took a job at Penn State Harrisburg in Marketing and Special Events. I worked planning commence...Expand for more
ment ceremonies, receptions, and other events on campus.
After 10 months, I missed State College too much and returned to the University Park campus of Penn State to work for the Pennsylvania Rural Leadership Program. This was a great job where I got to meet a ton of new people and travel all over. While I worked, I started my Master's degree part time. I left in July 2004 to pursue my education full time.
Now that I finished my schooling, I am working for the Smeal College of Business at Penn State. I am an academic advisor and work with approximately 300 students from freshman year through graduation. I love my job and the people I work with!
