Courtney's Story
Life
I lived in Barrington, IL (a suburb of Chicago) with my husband of 46 years. We raised our boys in Barrington, then sold our family home and moved to downtown Chicago in 2021.
I have 3 sons:
Liam is 43 (lives in Vilnius, Lithuania with his partner, Saskia), Rory is 39 (lives in Houston, TX with his wife, Xenia and son, Obi), and Keefe is 37 (lives in Itasca, I L (Chicago Metro), with wife, Amelia and son, Graeme).
My husband, Barry is retired.

r. Since high school I have earned my Masters' Degree, been involved in community service and our parish church. I still sing on a fairly regular basis for our parish church and various diocesan events.
College
The best years of my life. I met my two best friends at the "W" and we still keep in touch after all these years. My most supportive professor was my voice teacher, Ms. Haney. I was in Chapel and Tour Choir, Gauntlet Social Club, and a Junior Usher.
I am proud of the fact that I continued the Long Blue Line in my family. My grandmother, Courtney Lucius Best, graduated from the "W" when it was IIC in 1918.
