Courtney's Story
Life
I bought my own house in Milwaukee in 2002. I got married Oct 9, 2004 to Joe Pickar and took his last name (even though classmates won't let me change that). We honeymooned in Hawaii and bought a dog shortly after returning - Kona. He is an adorable bichon/cocker mix. I currently at working at a hospital in labor and delivery full time, and a local college part time teaching nursing students. I am also looking into pursuing my Master's degree.

Workplace
Currently I work in labor and delivery at a local hospital and I help teach nursing students at a local college. I am also newsletter coordinator for the AWHONN-WI chapter and am active in the AWHONN-Milwaukee section. I have my RN certification in Inpatient Obstetrics and love my job!
Military
I didn't join the military and when I looked into it - it was too late. This is the one thing I kinda wish I had done but didn't.
