Craig's Story
Currently married and leaving Washington for Texas in two weeks. Lived past 9 years on the bluff above Mission Beach on the Tulalip indian reservation. Beautiful view of the Puget Sound looking straight south,Retired due to second disability in 2008, I'm using a power chair now and have limited sitting time. Spent two years since 2008 in Rehab and nursing facilities, Worked Crabbing in Alaska after graduation. Yes just like on TV! Spent four years in Texas at UT and owning my own Exxon station before the spill in Prince Williams Sound. Actually returned from Texas to fish herring and salmon from Bristal Bay to Prince Williams Sound and ports in between. Akutan, Kodiak, and Cordova were my favorite places. and the northend I worked in Parts Distribution and Manager at Alaska Diesel for ten years. I attended night school attaining my Bachelor Degree. I worked as Parts Manager at Hertz Equipment Rental {formerly AA Rentals} until 9-11-2001. Started as temparary Parts Manager at Stewart and Stevenson until they went out of business after 103 years in business. My last job was also in Auburn at EC Power Systems working as Parts Manager and selling mostly marine diesel engines generators and parts. I had a second accident which hassened my retirement. So now it's back to Texas to add another chapter in my life. I will miss family[we have 5 kids, 7 grand kids and 8 great grand kids} and friends and the beautiful NW. I will be back!
