Craig's Story

Life: Here is my story.I am happy to say that My Dad John is still around but my Mom Nancy Died of cancer December 5, 2011. My dad still lives in the old house. My sister, Ellen, bought the house next door to them and my brother Glenn (the fireman) lives by Delview park. I live 6 hours away in Ucluelet. My history. After graduation started working for B.C. Tel. I continued to roller skate and did skating shows in the USA until 1994. In 1982 I found my passion. I started to compete in Industrial First Aid Competitions. I married in 1983 and I had 2 sons David in 1986 and Kevin in 1988. At the age of 4 Kevin started attending my First Aid Team practices and became our mascot. He attended most competitions. Most of the competitors are certified attendants. At one competition one of the other teams was short 1 person so they asked Kevin to play on their team (he was 5 and they had seen him attend all the other competitions) and he competed until 1999. 1999 I went through a very UGLY divorce. The cost, both financially, emotionally and mentally, almost killed me. Since the divorce no-one in my family has seen or heard from either of the boys. We have all tried but thanks to call display they will not answer the phone. We sent christmas and birthday cards but they do not respond back.( I keep hoping one day ) Anyway on the brighter side in 2002 I remarried. Nela The marriage was hell. We divorced on July 13 (Friday) 2012. In 2004 I decided to make a major change in my life and pursue my passion. I moved to Ucluelet on Vancouver Island and joined the Ambulance Service. They do an average of 232 calls per year, but I was always ...Expand for more
on pager call. I quit Telus and went full time BC Ambulance in Vancouver in 2010. We run a Bed & Breakfast and also have Cabins for rent (Pacific Rim B&B & Cabins 2 five 0 - 7 two 6 - 2 one one 2 or drop me a note at PacificRimB&B(at)telus(dot)net), big tourist area in the summer and storm watching in the winter. B&B Closed in 2010 but I still have the phone number So far I have traveled to 49 states and all provinces. In 2005 and 2006 I went to Romania and was the best man at a wedding. (The best man walks the bride down the isle. Never thought I would do that having 2 sons). Very interesting country and really nice people, great food (they sell beer in a 2 litre plastic bottle for less than a 2 litre bottle of pop). When you go to the restaurants you pay for everything: bread (they bring to you even if you do not order), ketchup, mayo, jam. Pop is in a .25 litre bottle and you can not take the bottle with you. Visited Amsterdam but you can not get a cup of coffee in the coffee shops only marijuana cigarettes. Update May 28, 2013 Craig was rearended by a drunk driver while Craig was riding his motorcycle on I-5 near portland Oregan. He has suffered a traumatic brain injury and has little to no recollection of his past. If you know him please email him at CraigPencer(at)gmail(dot)com. Perhaps you may have a few stories to tell. I look forward to hearing from all my fellow classmates both friend and foe. To all those who did not like me, I forgive you. To all those who I offended I am SORRY. To those who are not with us anymore, you are missed. My favorite saying: Reality is an illusion caused by a lack of alcohol.
