Craig's Story
Well it's a new year and time to update my profile while sitting at home sick. I must say this is better than work as my job SUCKS!!!
Been doing a lot since my lonely days at Prospect. I found out that I like going to school. Seems like I am always taking one class or another. After getting my Master's degree I figured it was time to take more fun classes so I took guitar lessons for four years. It sounds like I've only had lessons for four months but I enjoy it. It's electric and all my neighbors love it! I plan on returning to the classroom one more time to get a teaching credential. I'd like to teach Math to high schoolers some day soon.
After I received my BSEE from Cal Poly I began working as a Product Engineer in San Jose. I've been doing that for almost 15 ...Expand for more
years now and thoroughly enjoy it; just don't enjoy doing it for my current employer. But in this econonmy I am lucky to have a job; at least that is what I tell myself.
I've stayed pretty active since Prospect as well. I've always enjoyed bike riding and my interests in that activity really took off while in my 30's. I went on rides in Italy, Canada, and all over the US. I'm way too tall (and too slow) to ever consider racing but it's a great way to see a country and its people. I still get out on the bike now and then but not as much as I used to.
I still live locally in San Jose (Near Valley Fair - yes, I still call it Valley Fair). I'm married with no children. We have been parenting a refugee child for the last two years which has been very rewarding for us.
