Craig's Story
Life
Hi!
Remember me?
That's ok...sometimes I don't even remember me...
Let's see... After high school I taught gymnastics for many years. Most of the time it was great working with the kids. Went to UMASS Amherst for a year then went to work full time as the money ran out. A couple of years later I got a job at a summer camp as a gymnastics instructor and that's where I met my first love. We dated for many years, 6 or 7 I think, then we drifted apart. Any relationship that is to thrive must continue to move forward but I was afraid to take the next step. That may have been the biggest mistake of my life. Eventually gymnastics had to be put away...my body and psyche were burned out...so I ended up in retail.
I've been living in Arizona for almost 10 years now. Was married for 7. Been divorced since Feb '06. One regret is never having any kids. Managing a retail store right now but recently became a licensed massage therapist. Love to play golf and hike (Good thing this area is heaven for both). Also enjoy a good book or a movie (been seeing a lot of indie ...Expand for more
films lately). I love going to art walks in Scottsdale from time to time. Would like to catch up with old friends I haven't spoken to in ages.
This summer, 2008, is the summer I finally start taking flying lessons. There is a sailport not too far from Phoenix that gives rides and lessons in gliders. Once I get my license I plan to buy a bi-plane like the one in the picture. That one was taken in Sedona, AZ after a flight tour of the red rocks. It was amazing! I actually felt more comfortable in that tiny airplane than I do in jumbo jets. You can feel every subtle change in the airplane and the currents. Many people get airsick on them but i felt soooo connected to the plane and the sky. All I could think of the whole time I was up there was "wheeeee!"
So, anyway, if you remember me fondly (or otherwise) drop me a note. Would like to hear from any of you. We could relive the good old days or start over fresh. If you put my name together and send to yahoo I will get it. Just remember...no space between first and last.
Hoping to hear from you soon,
Craig
