Crista's Story
I graduated from UNR with a bachelors degree in Biology. I then completed a two year study in occupational health. I am an occupational health inspector for the State of Nevada. I married Eric Hartman (class of 88). We have a little girl together. We love to go camping at the lake, ride seadoos, go snowmobiling, ride quads and hang out with friends.......drink beer.
I was able to be a part of the World Trade Center rescue and recovery efforts days after the initial attacks (for rescuer s...Expand for more
afety efforts). I conducted air sampling for airborne asbestos, silica, and welding fumes. I also checked for underground freon leaks and handed out respirators to rescue workers. It was a life changing experience I will never forget, and I believe I am a better person because of it.
It's funny to think about the things that were so important to me when I was in High School. I wish I would have paid more attention in class. I hope friends remember me as a nice person who had a lot of fun.
