Crystal's Story

Life Well, I have had a lot going on since graduation. I got out of the NAVY and left Chesapeake, VA in June of 2000 and from there I moved to Pontotoc, Ms. It was a lot of adjusting, but I have learned to like certain aspects of living in Mississippi. I worked for 6 months then I enrolled in a community college. I mainly took science classes. I left the community college and got married in MAY of 2002, and from there I transferred to the University of Mississippi. I had intentions of going to Medical school, and up until my last semester I still planned on applying to med school. A friend of mine talked me into graduating a semester early and applying to Pharmacy school with her. ...Expand for more
I was up for the challenge and I decided to try and see if I could get into Pharmacy school. After a few months of waiting, I learned that I had been accepted, and I spent three years in pharmacy school. After a little soul searching, I realized pharmacy was not for me. As far as my personal life, I have a baby that will be 1 year old in July. It is so hard to believe that a year has come and gone. I worked for 6 years at Bath and Body Works, and then I took a job at a staffing company. This job has exposed me to all types of people and some really great experiences. I am just waiting to see where and when I get a job in something remotely close to my field. That's about all for now.
