Crystal's Story
Life
My family moved from Cape in 1986. There are six children and their names from oldest to youngest are as follows:
Janet Barnes, Crystal Hill, Antonio Hill, Muchion Hill,
Neshelle Hill, and my youngest brother William Hill who we call Puncho. The elementary schools we attended out there were Washington, and May Greene. Janet, Antonio and myself made it to middle school and my eldest sister Janet attended Central High. We attended Rev. Ship's church while in Cape. Which is actually how we ended up here in CO. Where we've called home for the past 17yrs. I have 2 boys, and 2 girls. I've worked in construction for the past 13 years. hursday 9/23/04. I'm proud to report no deaths in our immediate family. And all except my youngest brother has children. We truely lived a raggs to riches life. If you knew us back then and to see us and all of the accomplishments we've made as a unit, you would know that we all have been truely blessed.
August 2005 update.
I passed the test previously discussed. So I am now a Master Electrician, and also obtained my Electrical Contractor's license as well. That is actually an accomplishment because I am the first Afro-American female Electrical Contractor in the Rocky Mountain area. All in which is very unique because I personally hold all the qualifications. I have been truely blessed.
