Life
I have been happily married for 35 years. I have raised 3 children in christian schools and have seen them all graduated from college.Our oldest is teaching 1st grade in Malaysia, my son is an airline mechanic now teaching it at Blue ridge community college in Virginia and my youngest daughter works at APS. We have been foster parents for 11 years and have had about 25 different children in our home. We teach them about Jesus and try to teach them vlaues but mostly just give them lots of love. Most are 5 and younger and they may never remember us but if they can remember one verse or song about Jesus that might come back in later years to help them when they are in need then it has been worth it all. ay that they will be taken care of.It is such a thrill to see the change that takes place in their personalities when given a little love.
the two children that are now with us have been here since 2001. Children Services now has permanent custody of them and we are going to adopt them. So we are starting all over again with a four and three year old(now 8 & 6).they have been a real challenge but have come along way in the past5and a half years (still a ways to go ). i just pray and trust God our health will hold out to rasie them. we joke and say we don't ever have to worry about the empty nest syndrone we will die before they leave.
I thank God for my husband and 3 children plus 2 new ones and all he has given our family over the years.
