Crystal's Story
12/13/2024: Retired from Allstate Ins after 18 years. Retired 06/2023 and love not having to get up every morning at 6:00 am. Still living in the same place in Jamestown and married for 43 yrs now. I have a furbaby named Daisy Mae who was adopted at 10 weeks old. She will be 6 soon.
Our Grad class just had our 50th Class reunion. It was so good to see so many. We've also lost way too many.
2002-2003
When I finished school I stayed in the Trinity area for a while...moved to High Point in the early eighties and have lived in Jamestown since '82 with my husband of over 20 years. I've worked for an Advertising Specialties/Screen Printing company named JeBre Company for almost 22 years. My job title is Production Mgr. but I'm also a Graphic Artist, Screen Printer and whatever else may need to be done that day. My husband is a construction Superintendent for John S. Clark & Son in Mt. Airy and travels around quite a bit. I use to move with him but that gets old real fast...so I decided to stay home & let him do all the traveling. We have no children together but I have a daughter and he has a son who both graduated from NC State. I have 1 dog, Sophie...Golden Retriever. I also have a calico cat named Cali and a stray named Grey Kitty. All my pets, except for the stray... are adopted from the Animal Shelter and make wonderful pets...so loving and loyal! I enjoy playing on the computer, gardening, traveling, Nascar racing, surf fishing and anything to do with be...Expand for more

Oct 2005...My life has changed considerably since my last update. I no longer work for the Screenprinting company. They went out of business on Sept 30, 2005 after 24 yrs in business. I was with the company for almost 22 of the 24. Sooooooo, I've decided to change careers altogether at 49. It's a little scary but feel I need a change. I have taken and passed classroom for my Property and Casualty Ins License and will be working for Allstate in Greensboro as soon as I pass the state test. We are opening a brand new office on December 1, 2005 at 3306 N Elm St, GNSBO and the company name will be Maxwell Insurance Group. Passed the STATE test on January 29th. Love my new job and meeting so many nice folks, and I really enjoy making the money I felt I was worth all along. Makes life so much easier. :o) Hope to hear from some of you soon.

Had to have my Golden Retreiver Sophie put to sleep today. Was a sad day. She had cancer in her liver and it was terminal. I didn't put her to sleep until it started making her uncomfortable, then it was time. I miss her so much.

Went to Animal Shelter and got a new pup. She is 9 1/2 mos old and is a Blonde Lab mix..she's so funny. I named her Maggie Mae. She spoiled already ...of course. She rules the household as did Sophie Rose!
