Curt's Story
Life
Went to University of Chicago for college. Graduated in a proud five years. Went into investment banking. Got fired. Proud of that too. Went to work for a restaurant company in Chicago. Did that for four years. Got interested in the internet in and moved to Omaha in early 1995 to build a website for a college friend's family brokerage, which would later change its name to Ameritrade. It was the world's first internet stock trading site. Continued to run the internet for them until fall of 1999. ...Expand for more
MBA from Kellogg (Northwestern) in 2000. Built a small investment bank with a friend after graduate school and burned out in 2003. Built a house near downtown Chicago also in 2000. Now I do real estate related stuff and go to a lot of ball games. Married (11-04) a pretty girl named Jennifer (see pictures) who was introduced to me by my mom. I spend much of my time on things related to art. For fun I enjoy cars (I own a 1967 Ghia 450SS), collect contemporary art, listen to crazy music, travel, putz, and write.
