My mom was pregnant with me and the triplets, dad had bought a new station wagon at that time. He was stationed in beeville, Tx which was just a small navy town at the time and that's where they lived.
Anyways, he was driving home from the beach one day with momma and the kids and saw these 2 wild hogs on the side of the road (a boar and a sow), He stopped and dropped momma with the kids off on the side of the road and roped the hogs and then took'em home.
When my dad got back to pick momma up, she was in labor. He took her to the hospital and when I was born, he had forgotten to renew his insurance through the navy, so when asked about payment, he reached in his pocket and found fifty cents. He told the Dr. about the lack of insurance and the wild hogs at home... So, for fifty cents and some hog meat (1/2 a hog) I was born...
