Cynde's Story
Life
Who would have ever thought we'd be 50 years old?! I know I was shocked by it.
I do have a lot to show for the last half century, though: I married a man with three kids, and I had one, then we had two more . . . so we have six total and six (count 'em) six grandkids! Three of the kids and two of the grandkids live here in College Station, so I'm in Heaven. One son and his two kids are close by in Houston, though. One grandson is in Florida with his mother. Another son is in England with his wife and son in the Air Force, and that's proven to be a great vacation destination. The third child is in Pasadena, CA -- yet another place to travel!
It seems like just yesterday I was at the Little League fields with my own kids, and now I'm there again -- and cheering lou...Expand for more

I am teaching 8th grade English at College Station Middle School where I'm English Department Chair and Team Leader.
I've also just finished the past year as president of Brazos County Aggie Moms and have gone into deep maroon mode.
One more job I have -- that I love and actually get paid to do -- is that of Education Reporter for KAMU-TV here in College Station. I'm no Barbara Walters, but it's so much fun!
We have a bed and breakfast in our home and really enjoy meeting all the new people who stay with us!
Travel is a passion, and we look for reasons to pack a suitcase. One of the above pictures is of me eating lobster in Maine this past summer.
We're empty nesters, except for our two canine children, and I'd love to have visitors from the past!
