Cyndy's Story
Life
My Self: I'll have to get around to writing about me later.
My Spouse : It was so romantic! He had the most original line I'd heard for getting my phone number, so I gave it to him. I being a "late" person, him being a "late" person - maybe, just maybe, if he had a better reason to get up than to just shut off the alarm; and I had a phone call ring as well as the alarm, well ... maybe it could work for both of us. It has, and that's been for nearly 30 years now! And we still LIKE each other, too. Go figure!
My Kids :
My son - 22-1/2 - is the one my mother hoped I'd get, if you know what I mean?
He's come through an awful lot, definitely an athlete (esp.soccer / football) and probably has learned more at his age from the school of hard knocks than what his peers know to ask.
My daughter - 20-3/4 - is the one with the estrogen in this family. Very witty, trustworthy, loves kids, reading and writing, and is planning our "girl trip, foursome" out to Savannah, ...Expand for more
GA for her 21st birthday already. I'm game!
My youngest son - 17 - has come a long way too. He's very perceptive, unfortunately a perfectionist by nature, and extrememly bright. He's pretty decent at soccer as well as our electronic wizard & chess whiz in the family.
Actually they're all very bright but don't always choose to put their time and energy into studying, a lot is spent on the phone, net, videos, socializing in general. Hmmmm....
My Pets: We've got three kids and so family harmony sort of dictated three cats. In Jan./Feb. of 1999 we acquired our own dog, finally, at the age of 10 months. Jordan is a mix of maybe a long-haired black lab, and an Aerdale or a Russian Wolfhound. He's most definitely a bird dog by instinct! He's not been raised by either a two-legged hunter or a 4-legged hunter so he just assumes 'half-assed' pointer positions. He'll run himself literally ragged chasing the purple martins in the back acre. He, and they, both seem to love it.
