Cynthia's Story
After graduation, moved to Naples, FL, separated and eventually got a divorce from my husband at the time. Moved back to Fort Pierce and worked various jobs in town. Shared apartments with my best friend Darlene (Alligood) Wilson. Joined the United States Air Force as a Strategic Aircraft Maintenance Specialist. Worked on KC 135's and the like. ars. Met and married my current husband of 14 years. Had our son, Brandon, February 19, 2000. Now working for the City of Vero Beach Utilities. In 2004 lost my home in hurricane Frances and Jeanne. Contractor left house half done and went out of business, after being paid. We are just doing like everyone else these days, trying to complete the repairs on home ourselves and trying to live a respectable life. I miss seeing and talking to all of my friends.
