Friends -
I transfered out of Winchester High School and actually graduated from the Cambridge School of Weston. Then graduated from Harvard, where I met my husband Michael Payne. He's a gastroenterologist. We married in 1983, and have four children. And lots of pets! Three cats, a rabbit, two parakeets, three toads, a leopard gecko and a Cardigan Welsh Corgi.
We lived in Needham for a few years when we were first married, but for almost 20 years now we've lived in Williamstown out in the Berkshires, north of Tanglewood and Jiminy Peak, south of Bennington VT.
With the four kids I've stayed home and been busy for a long time now. I've been a La Leche League leader for 18 years and I'm also a board certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), but I've pretty much retired from tha...Expand for more

A few years ago we bought an 1815 Federal house and I restored it. I love this house! Ten foot ceilings! Original molding! Nine fireplaces! So now I'm active on the board of our local historical society.
I've spent years volunteering in my children's various schools as room parent, PTO, teaching aide, running fundraisers, etc.
I'm a member of the Congregational church, and I've taught Sunday School, was on the board to make our church Open and Affirming (of gays and lesbians), and I'm a deacon.
My youngest is in elementary school now so I got a job as a salesperson for Victoria's Secret. It's been a lot of fun! But the other sales associates are all so *young*! One of them used to go to nursery school with my oldest who's in college now. How did we get this old?
