Cynthia's Story
Life
It's been 23 years since I left high school and a lot has changed and not much has changed.
What's changed? I'm now the mother of a 19 year old daughter and an 11 year old son. I am married to one of the elder's of the church. I work in an industry that I never even heard of before applying for my current position, even though, in my former life, I worked for the world's largest outplacement business and learned of many different industries and met thousands of different people. I now sing Gospel music and have just joined the praise and worship team of my church. I am currently working on my own recording project with my husband, who is also a musician...Expand for more
, producer and business owner. I miss my daughter is who now living in South Carolina and am getting to know my new son.
What's hasn't changed? I am still somewhat of a quiet introvert. I continue to be reasonably slim, despite any conscience effort on my part, and still love a good novel, puzzles, Friday nights at the movies, family get togethers, and, of course, singing. My mom still lives in Chester in the same house that I grew up in and she's lived in for the past 50 some odd years. I visit her often but the neighborhood just isn't the same.
I'm busy, blessed and full of life. I love the Lord and look forward to the next 41 years and then some.
