Cynthia's Story
Life
(updates appear as added paragraphs)
College included 3 major areas: music, theatre and dance. Following an early graduation from U of MD, I went to PA and married, but alas, it did not last. A year following my mother's death in 1986, I went for my Masters degree in Vocal Pedagogy and Performance. My love life still not springing forth, nor my earning potential as a music teacher, I went off to pursue my Doctorate in Opera
Directing, which I completed in 1997. I was then in NJ, outside Princeton, and enjoyed my work in choral conducting, music theatre teaching and voice instruction and worship arts. I created a vocal arts program for a Performing Arts school here and its success is rewarding. My passion for music, stage directing, conducting and teaching, keep me very productive and busy. No husband, no kids... but life is full, none the less.
If you know any single men looking for a tennis partner, let me at 'em! Meanwhile, my extensive church work, teaching and performing, keep me filled with endless wonder and a wee bit of stress.

2004- Ok ... new job out of the picture ... newer job now! No more with UTEP, so, now earning more money doing the theatre and music thing in public schools. Ahhhh .... energy and bliss can go together!
2006-TOOOOOO MUCH ENERGY! After 25 years pursuing a career doing the arts, I decided to drop back to part time and create a new life. So, I began a home business in health consulting featuring Shaklee products, the leaders in the health and wellness industry and 50 years of setting the standard in organic, natural products for body, home, and the planet. I am doing the arts as part of my Performing Arts Studio and picking projects and students as I please! I am officially my own boss! What fun!
This ongoing log, a diary of sorts for you readers, now moves up to 2023. I divorced last year and return to my peace and solitude - joyfully! Glad I still can do cartwheels on the mountain top at age 63, and thankful in this Thanksgiving season for my chosen family - friends who journey with me as I celebrate growth, renewal, triumphs, and all God offers. It's in the rising up that Glory is the most powerful and shines the brightest! I wish you all Love and Light, joy-filled days, and your own glorious rising.
