Cynthia's Story
Life
I graduated from Notre Dame in 1976. After Notre Dame, I attended Gavilan Community College for 2 years. I transferred to Cal State Sacramento in 1978 and received a bachelor's degree in Social Work in 1980. I then worked for 1 year for Monterey County before I went to UC Berkeley to complete a Master's degree. My husband and I moved to Texas in 1994. director of a statewide health association and work on health policy issues with our state legislature.
Although life can seem pretty busy, I think its important to have a lot of activities. So I get together with friends (Austin is a beautiful city with lots to do), I run, swim, an cycle and occasionally participate in short-distance triathlons. Lots of fun!
