Well, my life has been anything but dull! After high school I went to Lamar for two years and then left to make my fame and fortune in Houston! Within 2 months I met my husband and we have had an adventure for 37 years! Funny how I had to move to Houston to meet the man I would spend my life with when he went to Beaumont High himself! When I met him he was divorced and with a 5 month old child he had custody of. Boy, I would not have gone out on that first date if I had known, but I sure would have missed so much. We got married when my daughter was 11 months old and I was an immediate Mom! She was such a good baby. Never cried and slept until 9 every morning. She even woke with a smile on her face! I had NO idea what that meant at the time, but learned real fast. Being young and naive I wanted another baby right away. God blessed me with a son 13 months after we were married. He was a 160 degree different child than my daughter. He did not sleep all night until he was 5 year old! They have been turned out to be wonderful children that I am very proud of.
