Life A lot has happened since high school. I attended Cal State University Long Beach for three years, graduated with a bachelors degree in Social Welfare from San Francisco State University, and received my Masters degree in Social Welfare from UC Berkeley in 1984. I lived in Vacaville, CA for about a year after graduate school and worked at Calif. Medical Facility at Vacaville as a Graduate Student Assistant, and Napa State Hospital as a Psychiatric Social Worker. I lived in the state of Washington for a year, in the Philippines for four years, and I've been back here in Southern Cal since Jan. 1990. Most of my work experience has been in the field of social services; the last five years I worked as a social worker and therapist for a private foster care agency.
