Life I turned 55 this past March, scary thought, but then again, age is all in your mind anyway; at least I think so. Besides, I can still pass for 30! I've had an interesting life so far....a "flower child," a "hippie," a professional musician, a soldier, a Civil War Cavalry reenactor, a teacher, and a wife and mother. I've played my guitar and sung with some famous people. And now, I "find" myself in deep East Texas where I can sit on my back porch and watch my neighbor's horses run around in their field, or go to the family cattle farm and play with our pet heifer named "Beauty." Yup...I actually own a cow!!! I can't complain. I've had ups and downs in my life, but so have we all. But my most incredible accomplishment is my daughter, Jessie, who was 13 in May.
