Cynthia's Story

Life Hey Old Friends! Here's the latest news...I married Brian South in August (2008). We ran away to Anguilla, British Virgin Islands, and eloped on the beach after dating for a few years. This is the third time 'round for both of us, so hope it's a charm. Isn't it funny that I have been living in the Carolinas for nearly 30 years, and now my oldest daughter lives in O'Fallon, IL!! She graduated 2009 from nursing school at SWIC and starts working this summer at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville. My youngest graduated June 8, 2009,from high school. She starts nursing school at the University of South Carolina this fall. I love the South, its beaches, mountains and best of all the softness of life here. on of the MHS Class of '76 because I've always been closer to them. I earned my journalism degree from the U of MO and then my master's in healthcare administration from the University of South Carolina. I have been PR/Marketing director for a variety of universities and hospitals and now have my own marketing firm. I am an athlete -- run 3 miles a day, play tennis and golf, and entertain my mind with reading and the arts. I love to try new recipes and new wines (love to learn more at wine tastings). My brother, Phil Montgomery, MHS Class of '74, lives in Knoxville. He and his wife are both engineers, his master's degree is from UT. He is raising his second set of children now, youngest is 3. They are either sailing, scuba diving or skiing, and enjoying life to the max. I love staying in touch with my old friends, so email me!
