Dagmar Cepak Sands:  

Life Dagmar Cepak Sands - was born and raised in Czechoslovakia. She moved to the United States in 1968 with her family as a teenager and could not speak any English. Dagmar was involved in gymnastics in Europe and continued the sport here in the U.S. She attended Southwest Dekalb High School and graduated in 1972. Her passion was always traveling. After interviewing with Delta Airlines in 1972 and being too young to serve drinks on the planes, Dagmar started taking her Business Courses at Dekalb Community College and worked during the day for McLean Trucking Company, the 4th Largest Transportation Company in the U.S. With excellent math skills, Secretarial classes (shorthand, typing, calculus, etc.) she was offered a position as Terminal Manager's Secretary and handled payroll for 500 employees. Dagmar worked full time, attended college and also started taking her real estate courses. In 1979 she obtained her real estate license and started working for Royer Realty as a part-time agent. She achieved "AGENT of the Month" and by-passed the full time agents in sales. When McLean Trucking Company filed bankruptcy Dagmar assumed the role of Property Manager in Sandy Springs Managing 200,000 Sq. Ft. Office Complex called Plaza 400 for Stout Smith Properties. She opened her own company in 1985 called Real Estate International, Inc. and hired 14 bi-lingual agents to assist her "Selling the American Dream - in the Clients own language". She joined FIABCI (The International Real Estate Federation) and served as the Georgia President, served on the Board of Directors for FIABCI-USA, became Ambassador to Indonesia in 1996, hosted Japanese Delegation from Tokyo of 17 Major CRE's(Counselors of Real Estate) in Atlanta and traveled to 25 different countries to learn how to deal with clients worldwide. Her passion for travel and passion for people became part of her company's motto "SOLD in ANY Language" and she started giving "World Class Service" to all of her clients. ...Expand for more
