Let me apologize.
I am not Dake Kronenberg. I am Steve Barnes, looking for Dake. I thought I was doing a SEARCH on Classmates.com. Instead, it looks like I joined it as Dake. 🥴
I knew Dake in the Army 🪖 during 1967 and'68, first in training in Georgia, then in Vietnam for a year which included the Tet Offensive. Later, I visited Dake a few times at his family's townhouse on East 81st in Manhattan during late '68, early '69. Then I went back home to San Diego to continue my education at UCSD. here I am in my mid seventies, with more and more family and friends crossing the River Styx, leaving me still on this side, reminiscing about my past and the people with whom I shared various adventures.
Even though I have not found Dake on Classmates, as long as I am here, I thought I would see if any of his former classmates had any leads on his whereabouts or fate. I had met some of his friends in New York back in the sixties, but I don't remember their names. One of them was a stockbroker. Ring any bells? Anyone have any clues, leads, rumors? 😏
