DaKrina's Story

Life Well in 1990 I married James King, my high school romance and soon after that we divorced lol. We did however end up back together only three months later and stayed together for a total of 11 1/2yrs. We moved to Michigan and back to Clovis then made the big move to Texas where all of my family lived. We lived there for around 3yrs and then made a move to California to be around and closer to some of his family. We lived in San Francisco for 2yrs and transferred with his job to Sacramento in 1997. I decided to go back to school and went to a Business college in Rancho Cordova, CA. I graduated with my Associates Degree in 1999 - 10 whole years after I graduated from High school lol. It was the best two years of my life, though very busy. I worked full-time and attended school full-time as well. My schedule was from 6pm to 10pm at school and 11pm to 7am at work M-F. I really did enjoy it though. The job was fun and quite easy and gave me plenty of time to get homework done that didn't have to be done on a computer. Often times, I'd go straight from work to grab some breakfast and then go to school and be there when the doors opened to go in and work in the learning center to get the computer work I needed done. I graduated with honors and received an Associates Degree in Computer Business Administration. I was so proud of that degree and graduating with honors. Things were going quite well with me until around my last semester of school when James and I had decided to divorce (yes we did eventually get remarried). I thought my life was over and I really didn't know what I was going to do, but I picked myself up and decided to move back to TX after graduation. My mom and step-dad came down from TX with a U-Haul in tow and loaded up all of my stuff. I left for TX with my parents the night I graduated. I've been in TX every since too. I hadn't been here long when I met my next ex-husband (hahaha!). We met online in an audio-chat program then called MPlayer. I'd get on there to meet people from TX before I moved from CA so I'd maybe be able to already have friends in TX before I even got...Expand for more
there. My ex and I met in a singing room. I was always getting online to sing and hold concerts and contests for other singers. He sang too and we just kind of clicked. He lived about 2hrs from me and so we decided to meet each other. I figured I'd be meeting a nice guy and since we had the same interests, I'd get a good friend out of it. I wasn't looking for romance at all after being in an 11+yr relationship with my ex-husband! Well we met and sparks FLEW! I mean there was instant chemistry and it just went from there. We were together for 3yrs before we did finally get married. We got (most of) our kinks worked out and decided to tie the knot. It wasn't a big wedding, or really even a wedding at all lol. But we did get rings (James and I never did) and we went to the J.P. and got married. We married on the anniversary of the first day we met in real life; Feb 8, 2002. He has a son who is 9yrs old and that is the only children we have. I cannot have children of my own and I’ve known this for sometime now. Currently I'm doing nothing with that degree I currently have but plan on actually going back to school next spring. I want to do something I've always wanted to do and that's to be involved with abused children and be able to help them. So I'm going to go back to school and get my Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. Not sure what I’ll do with that degree but feel it’s better than the one I currently have with more options out there. Well that’s my life in a nutshell minus all the heartbreaks and major bad stuff of course. How is everyone doing in his or her lives? Have you completed that goal you set for yourself back in HS? I know I didn’t, but I’m happy for the most part and would really love to reconnect with some of you! So get in touch with me! School The best times I had in school were the trips to Six Flags with the Choir and going to competitions. I enjoyed those so much and they were always so much fun! I also liked being a trend setter with the clothes and styles I chose to create. I have a lot of great HS memories! Share some of yours with me!
