Dal's Story
Life
I finished College at Loyola Marymount University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MS in Systems Engineering. I am a Space Vehicle Systems Engineer for Boeing Space and Intelligence Systems in El Segundo, CA. I have been working there for nearly 19 years now (used to be Hughes Aircraft Company). I was able to travel the world during the boom of commercial spacecraft production and launch (i.e. DIRECTV). I was able to travel to Russia, Norway, Sweden, France, French Guiana, England, China, Luxemburg, and the middle of the Pacific Ocean to launch spaecraft on Sea Launch (at the Equator below Hawaii). in the LA area since 1988. I am married with a 15 year old step son and a 3 year old son who take up most of my/our spare time. We live in Rancho Palos Verdes but are not home much as our 15 year old is in the High School Band and a Drum and Bugle Corps (go figure right?). My wife is a 5th grade Teacher and we love to travel, hike, mountain bike, ski, go to Disneyland and the beach, and spend time with our friends. When we are not having fun doing our many famliy activities, I can be found in the garage working on my 1963 Porsche 356 restoration project or out driving my Porsche 911 on mountain roads somewhere or out on a track.
