Dale's Story
School
I loved being a JJ Pearce Photographer. I could get hall passes and take candid pictures for hours. It was fun jamming to AC/DC on the boom box in the darkroom in the Annual Staff room.
My favorite teacher was Ms. Wonderly (Biology) because it was the only "A" grade class I had. I should have been a doctor. I really could memorize all those bone names.
I always was the one that got in trouble for laughing in class because some jerk class clown would get me started to the point that I could not stop.
I was most proud of the AP History class I took because it really opened my mind about education and that I should not just take everything as gospel but question everything that I am taught and find the truth.
I was most scared at Big John's barn where we had a beer drinking party and I almost drove off a 40 ft. cliff into a creek bed. That woke me up...Expand for more

College
I use to have study group where I was the only guy and all the ladies were young mothers and wives. I learned a lot.
I remember in my programming class at UTD that a guy was so upset with a grade of 98 that he stormed out of a class of 100 people and called the teacher a bad name. Some people never grow up. He really wanted those two points pretty bad.
Work
I have been mostly in Information Technology field but back in the late 80's I become disgruntled with my work and switched to Sales Support and Computer Aided Design. It was fun for awhile. Then I took a stab at sales in the early 90's but failed miserably. In 1997 I re-entered the IT world and it had totally changed. I loved it! My brother Doug was right that computers, tinkering and creating new things was my first love. I have been in IT ever since and got my first patent in Oct 2007.
