Dan's Story
Grew up in Argentina, moved to the U.S.A. for my senior year of high school in Tennessee, then on to Texas for college and never left. Spent 25 years as a church youth minister and am now in my 39th year as a licensed Spanish court interpreter (yes, a dozen of those years overlapped!).
Highlights of my younger days include winning a gold medal in Brazil in 1969 as fast-pitch softball pitcher at the International Braniff Meet, head-yell leader at Baylor University in the early 70's and winning seven Addy Awards with o...Expand for more

My middle-aged years...not so good. How I wish I could turn back the clock and go right instead of left at one certain fork in the road.
My senior years: When I earned my AARP card, I decided to get my body back into shape. I am honored to still be the representative for the Class of 1970 from our high school in Argentina.
One thing that I have done with my life where I actually got it right: I have two great kids who make me really proud to be a father.
