Life

Dan Facchini received his Bachelor's Degrees in Economics and English in 1996 from Northern Illinois University, where he also played rugby and was president of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. Dan worked at financial consulting firm FTR and played Rugby for the Chicago Griffins while earning his MasterÂs Degree in Public Service Management from DePaul University in 2000. For the next five plus years, he worked as Development Director and eventually Associate Executive Director for H.O.M.E. Meanwhile, Dan married his lovely wife Jodi in 2001, and with his father became published co-authors of Muldoon: A True Chicago Ghost Story by Lake Claremont Press in 2003. Dan completed the comedy writing program at The Second City Training Center in 2004, and has since co-written and produced four comedy revues at DonnyÂs Skybox Theatre in PiperÂs Alley. With more writing and producing endeavors to come, Dan is currently Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations for the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago, volunteers as chapter advisor to his fraternity, and is a proud father to two wonderful daughters, Lexi and Mia.
