Dan's Story
I've been working as a petroleum landman for the last several years. However, this summer I'm trying to break out as a writer - a long time dream. My passion has always been writing, but I had a writer's block that I could not understand for many years. I wrote two books that publishers were interested in, but I backed away and the books were never published.
My first book, Freedom's Just Another Word, is now available as of 8/11/08.

out a very trying yet healing time I went through in 1987, when my Dad died. Lost creativity and the effects of family alcoholism are just two of the elements I explore in this book. It is the first of a cycle of 7 books about healing old wounds. The cycle will culminate with Nothing Left to Lose, written in 1993, about a critical turning point in my father's life, depicted from a perspective of forgiveness and admiration.
