Dan's Story
I thought I left Aurora for good Jan. of 1977, after I finally finished my BA at Aurora College/University. Worked as retail mgr in S. CA until I moved to WA state in 1979, where I have lived 33-years now. I did mostly social service work here: psych counselor, chemical dependency counselor, then 13-years working with homeless folks until I returned to Aurora. Stayed over a year there assisting ailing mother until pull back to the PNW became too great. I am back, expect to end this life here unless a good reson to re-locate occurs again....Expand for more
Graduated in 1976 from AC, though I was in the class of 1973. If you remember me (Aurora Borealis editor in 1970 among other ways) and want to write, I'll answer. Last Roncalli HS graduating class in 1968. Did about everything there - one of the advantages of a small school.
If you measure "most likely to succeed" by material wealth, then I failed. Otherwise I'm a pretty nice guy who values spirituality above all else. I've been working on self- growth most of my adult life and always will. Occupationally retired now.
