Dan's Story
Left the Beach in January 1970. 2 years later married the love of my life she went to Hazen HS. Started working at NC Machinery 1974 in the parts dept. I held almost every position at one time including parts supervisor. I have 2 children 1 boy whos married and has 2 boys one just graduated from Fife HS the other one is younger and almost 6 ft tall. t for a year and a half at Boeing went back to NC. I retired on June 3 2022. My wife passed away 2-2-21 from a stroke she suffered in Oct. of 2011. Amazing and strong woman to last that long. My son is a disabled Vet and his family live with me since 2007 after he was released from the Army. Its been a wild ride in this life. Ive met a lot of people who went to the Beach many of my customers did as well as a couple fellow workers.
