Dan's Story
Life
It was not until I graduated from High School that I finally came to grips with life and realized that I was gay. That really held me back in High School, and if I had realized that then and things were different, I would have tried out for the Track Team. As some of you may remember, I was pretty good at running and track events, and even gymnastics. I remember when coach Mr. Belladella used to bet on me to win the running races we had in gym class. id not have many friends from that time, but those that I did I am still in contact with now. The others that I really thought a lot of, I have sent mail to them on Classmates.com.
I lived in a Downey appartment for three years, and then bought a Condo in Fullerton where I worked. After three years there, I bought a house in Belmont Shore in Long Beach where I am still living and will remain now that I am retired.
School
I started my schooling at Roger Casier Elementary in Downey Calif. From there I gradutated to North Junior High School for the next three years. Then it was on to the final three years at Warren High School ending in 1967.
