Dan's Story
I went to Westlawn in about 1959 to 1961. I remember being in Mrs. Mayo's General Science class and Asst. Principal Mr. Sellars and his paddle. haha. We moved across town and I went to Huntsville High for a year before moving to College Park, Ga. (near Atlanta) where I finished High School.
While at Westlawn I was in a combo called the Earthquakes. Most of us went to Westlawn. Ray Guard, Hector Rodriguez, Richard Bower and myself.

ayos class. I think Betty Burke was in there. I remember Wendell Haygood at Westlawn we played togeather some. I saw him years later at Dobbins AFB in Marietta, Ga. He was in the Marine Corps. Others I remember were Kathy Gonzalez, Kathy Hogue, Renee Morris. Annette Furfy and her brother Ken. It was a long time ago.
We used to play at the Redstone Arsnel Teen Club and some of those kids from Westlawn went there too. I remember EmmyLou Neal and her parents were running the club. If I have forgotten anyone. Let me know.
