Dan's Story
After leaving St Matthew's Elementary School, I attended Notre Dame in Harper Woods and graduated in 1964. From there I attended U of D, Macomb Community College and finally graduated from Wayne State in 1972 with a BS in Marketing.
Married my wife Marge in 1969 and have 2 sons, Dan and Mark.
Employed by GE from 1967 to 1987 when the division I worked in , Carboloy, was sold to Seco Tools, a Swedish cutting tools company....Expand for more
Stayed at Seco and retired in 2011 after 42 years.
My wife and I are proud grandparents of 4 grandsons and a granddaughter ranging in age from 25 to 20
Life is good !
Started work at a local golf course in 2019 on the grounds crew. Great seasonal job that keeps me active. I consider this work as recreational rather than a job. After 2 back surgeries I'm a little less mobile than I was years ago but working is therapeutic.
