Dan's Story

After PHS, small college in Lancaster, Pa. Then spent memorable summer groovin' with the Amish, working swing shift in local iron foundry and watching Watergate hearings on TV. Took job with a Philadelphia engineering firm. Met Carol (now wife of 35 years) reaching for the clam dip at a Halloween party. Bribery scandal (it wasn't me, ...Expand for more
honest!) scuttled the engineering job. Decided to simultaneously get married, move to Portland, OR and go to law school. Lawyer for 36 years in Portland, OR. My current sporting passions: snow skiing with an annual big time trip with my ski buddy Doug Brown, and bicycling with an annual European cycling tour. How long can this go on?
