Life It's been an interesting and exciting ride. After college (BU) I had a short training stint in the Army and returned to Methuen, working as Coordinator of Federal Programs for the Town. In April of 72 I married Kathy Savastano of Lawrence and celebrated 42 years this year (2014). In the seventies, we had two children--Tara, now married and a mom, and Christopher, who's a registered nurse. After the town, I worked for the local Chamber of Commerce and then spent two years on the staff of then Congressman Paul Tsongas. From 71-80, I also served as Drill Instructor of the Cadet Corps. In 77, I became a lobbyist for a trade association and in 81, joined Miller Brewing as a Government Affairs Manager, moving to Albany, NY. In 88, we moved to Washington as I became Director, Federal Affairs for Miller. In 93, I transferred to Molson USA (then part of Miller) as VP Corporate Affairs. In 95, I left Molson for White Plains, NY and Heineken USA, as Senior Vice President Chief Corporate Relations Officer. The family moved to Westchester County, NY (Harrison) in the summer of 96.
