Dana's Story
Life
In 1990 graduated MTSU with a BS in Early Childhood Education. I taught preschool for 7 years (two while still in school).
I married my husband Scott in 1992. In 1995 I quit working to have my son Drew. My daughter Grayson was born in 1997.
I was fortunate enough to be able to stay home and raise my children until fall 2001 when I went to work part-time at the YMCA and my kids elementary school in the library. The principal there inspired me to go back to school and re-up my teaching certificate. I did that and...Expand for more
more! August 2009 I will graduate with my master's degree in Educational Administration/Library Science.
We made a big move to Murfreesboro from Nashville in 2007 to get my now middle school son and soon to be middle school daughter into a better school and neighborhood environment. The move also made my schooling a little easier being this close to MTSU.
The move also put me closer to Suzanne Fuller Payne who is still my best bud! I email and keep up wtih Stethney Clifton Haynie and Lora Smith Nethercutt, too.
