Life I was born in a small town south of San Antonio, and moved to Houston at the age of 2. Got to Alief in 1970 to finish out the second half of 5th grade and stuck around to graduate. Attended Univ. of Houston and marched in the band through 3 bowl seasons, met Steve from Baylor, married him in '81, moved to Waco a couple of years later and finished putting him through school, then went to Baylor myself. Education put on hold for #1 Kid in '88, #2 kid in '92, #3 kid in '96 -- whew! One of these days I'll go back to school and finish. Meanwhile, you can find me working in the Texas Medical Center -- if you really care to try. In the fall, I can be found with my butt firmly planted on a bleacher at a high school football game somewhere in the general vicinity of Katy ISD -- Steve's a coach. As much time as I spent in the bleachers in high school and college, you'd think I'd be tired of it. But I'm not. Summary: I have been greatly blessed with a husband I adore, kids I am profoundly proud of, and a future so bright I gotta wear shades!
