Dana's Story
I'm sure high school could've been a tumultuous time for just about anybody and believe me, I was not the exception -- I was miserable! However, some of the friends that I have now and whom I am the most fond of, I met in middle/high school...so, I suppose it wasn't a complete waste of time...actually, ANY time spent making life-long friends and learning something new is never a 'waste' in my book.
What am I doing now, 30 years later? I'm a paralegal-turned-wanna-be-writer...who-doesn't-write-as-often-as-she-should(ha!), currently living a few miles west of Boise, Idaho. However, I'm slowly making...Expand for more
my way to the Oregon/Northern California coast, where I can surf out the rest of my days on Planet Earth dodging the kinds of sharks that don't wear Armani suits and litigate ;)
I'm happily married to my yang, Chris, and between the two of us, we have six incredible kids (ranging from 13 to 26 years, including a set of twin girls), and two beautiful and amazing grandsons. (I LOVE BEING A GRANDMA!!)
I genuinely hope that every single person I knew in school is happy with their lives and are precisely where they want to be, wherever/whatever that is.
