Update
6/18/08 -Still working at Health Net and still involved with Girl Scouts. Daughter Kaila ended up going to CSUN because she didn't want to miss her brother Daniel's high school years. They both finish their freshman year at their respective schools. Daniel played freshman football and freshman volleyball.

Life
8/17/06 - Just checking to see if any thoughts have been put into doing a reunion... I can't believe that 25 years have already passed us by. What have I been up to since then?
Well, I took the real long path in graduating from college. I finally got a B.A. in Deaf Studies from Cal State U, Northridge (CSUN) in 1992. My husband Rene and I eloped in 1986, and then had our marriage blessed in 1988. We are still together! When my daughter Kaila was born in 1989, I decided to go back to school and get my degree, so that my children would have at least one parent with a college degree. My son Daniel was born in 1993.

My family and I live in San Fernando Valley (near Los Angeles). I am a Senior Systems Analyst for Health Net, and I have been with the company 16 years now. Kaila will be a Senior in high school this fall, and she is hoping to get into San Francisco State U next year. Daniel will be in 8th grade this fall.
I'm a Girl Scout leader for my daughter's troop, and I am seriously thinking of continuing on with GS even after my daughter graduates. I truly love GS and all it stands for.
If anyone is thinking of putting on a reunion, please contact me at danaf (at) tmail (dot) com. My mother passed away 3 years ago, and while my step-father still lives in the house I grew up in, I have no way of knowing whether or not his daughters are forwarding my mail. (My step-father has alhzeimer, which I know I have just mis-spelled).
Now that Kaila is a Senior in high school, I keep thinking back to all the good times I had in my Senior year ..........
