g from East High School, I studied Civil Engineering at UW-Madison (BSCEE '87). Since 1988, I have worked for the City of Mesa (Arizona) in the Transportation Department. I am the Transportation Department Director for this city of about 460,000 people. While working, I also attended graduate school at Arizona State University in Tempe to first study Civil Engineering (MSCE '96), then Public Administration (MPA '02). Work keeps me pretty busy, but I always try to make time for my family (and golf). I've been very fortunate, and I don't personally know anyone I'd trade places with at this stage of my life.
