daniel's Story
The story of my life could fill a library, but here's what's been happening lately.
I was a happy bachelor until the age of 49, at which time I got married. (read between the lines). My wife's brother's girlfriend had a baby boy, named Dominic. Since the biological mother had drug issues, my wife and I took little Dominic home with us. Dominic was born addicted to heroin, and his medical condition was tenuous, at best. it was a very difficult road until we finally divorced in 2009. The courts awarded me full custody, so now I'm a happy bachelor again with a very precocious 14 year old son.
Dominic is healthy, and loves to play basketball, We also go to Lake County Captains baseball games every summer. He has Asperger's syndrome, and he is INCREDIBLY smart. Usually, kids at the age of 14 think they're smarter than their parents. In this case, he's probably right.
My compliments to all the single moms out there. Being a single parent is very hard work.
