The vehicles that we use for Social Networking: Facebook, Plaxo, MySpace, LinkedIn, I sure wish I had thought up these ideas! I love to make contact with those I have gone through life with! I am not interested in living in the past but in celebrating the present and the future, while appreciating the past. I get a great joy out of linking up those who have lost contact with each other, for a variety of reasons.
When I heard that our middle school 8th grade coach barely escaped from his Rossmoor condo complex in 2007 before it burnt to the ground, I sprung into action. I signed up for "Classmates" and contacted 300 Fairview Falcon alums from several classes. Through the generosity of about 100 alums, we were able to give the Coach, $5,000.00 and alot of encouragement. What a joy that was!

I enjoyed looking up my Del Valle High School classmates on the unclaimed money site of the State of California. I was even able to point some of my classmates towards some of their money!
Anyway, after I graduated from Del Valle, I attended and graduated from Diablo Valley College in 1975. Next I graduated from Santa Clara University with a BS degree in Religious Studies in 1978. I then worked in the business world for five years before heading off to Western Conservative Baptist Seminary in Portland, OR. in 1983. I married Susan in 1984 in San Jose. I graduated from Western in 1988 with a Masters of Divinity degree. I next served in an pastoral internship in a church in Pleasant Hill, CA. Next I served in a Southern Baptist church start-up in the Portland, OR area (Clackamas) for a couple of years. I have been a nursing home chaplain since 1992.
