Daniel's Story
Life
Ten days after graduation I was shipped off to South Carolina for boot camp. I've been in the army for the last 5 years and 9 months, and hating every second of it. I get out June 23 this year and I am trying to get into UCR. While in the Army I have been to Korea, Germany, France, Hungry and Bosnia. While in Germany I meet the most beautiful German, her name is Isabel. We have been married for the last two years.

1973 Buick, rust-gray in color with DAN 15 on the plates. I still have that car, it's still pretty ugly but it looks much better. Runs like new with a cheap paint job. I'll probably have that car for the rest of my life.
Apr 2001. Well I'm out of the army-thank god-and I'm going to UCR as a physics major. Still married, still have the Buick.
