Daniel's Story
Life
I'm too young to have a biography really, but here goes. I was born in Yale New Haven Hospital and lived in Hamden, CT from birth until I graduated High School. My mother is from Zurich, Switzerland, my father Marblehead, Mass. I have one sister who like my mother is obsessed with languages (speaking 3, my mother 5, myself and Dad 1)and goes to law school at Pace currently. I went to Syracuse University and got a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. I currently have lived in NYC for the past 3 years trying to be an actor and have had a zillion side jobs, most recently a manager at a bar/restaurant. I have spent the past 4 months living in Paris, France trying to decide what next step to take with my life, and have decided to take all options possible.
School
Pretty simple. Freshman year it was drama, music, and soccer. By sophomore yea...Expand for more
r I dropped the soccer and just went artsy. I enjoyed highschool in retrospect more than I thought I did at the time. I wish that I kept up with my grades and honors classes more, and that I stuck with a sport, but on the grand scale no regrets.
College
I enjoyed myself so much in college I often find myself still in it. I studied Musical Theatre at Syracuse and had the best and different 4 years of my life. Educational is an understatement.
Workplace
Well, like most actors I have a dual career. I have my acting career, and then I have the "career", really the job, that keeps me alive. As an actor, I love the ideal of acting but have found most of what pays me is either unsatisfying or subpar. As for working to make money, I've had more jobs than you can imagine, the most fun being promotional work, the most lucrative being restaurant manager.
